On February 19, 2020 the VWAA's Judicial Screening Committee interviewed fifteen candidates for the vacancy on the Court of Appeals of Virginia, occasioned by Judge Rossie D. Alston Jr.'s appoitnment to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
